RnA
RnA was founded in 2005 by prof. dr. Aldert Bergwerff
(CEO/CSO), ing. Ron Wolbert and Utrecht University Holding at The
Netherlands.
RnA is presently located in Utrecht, but will move in
2011 to a new office with more laboratory facilities in Amersfoort, also
located in the center of The Netherlands.
RnA activities
RnA is the inventor of
RnAssays® comprising of assays partly developed at the Utrecht University,
and owns patents for the innovative covalent coupling of antigenic and
receptor structures to solid surfaces, such as microspheres, sensor-surfaces
or sensor-tips.
RnA is specialized in the
development and application of rapid, accurate and cost-effective diagnostic
assays. These are used for safety and quality control in the primary and
secondary food production sectors with the focus on foods of animals
origin.
